Problem with sprx mod menus on HEN

Hey guys hope youre doing well. I have some problems with using sprx menus on HEN. My HEN version is 4.89.2.

Im trying to mod in bf4. In advance, I copied bf4 onto my hdd (current game version 1.20), took the eboot.bin and modified it with some offsets (Wallhack, no recoil, etc) and that works perfectly. I can play online without any problems except that my ps3 freezes sometimes but thats pretty rare.

And now the plottwist, im trying since weeks to get a sprx menu work in bf4. Already tried it in other games too (mw2, mw3, bo2, bf3) but it didtn work aswell. I know where I have to put the specific files (copy paste the modded eboot in /dev_hdd0/game/BLES01832/USDIR and the sprx file in /dev_hdd0/tmp) and that works fine. But when I start the game, after maybe 10 seconds, my ps3 shuts herself off like if you unplug the power supply cable. Wtf?? And that only happens when I try to use sprx menus.

So here's my question. What am I doing wrong?

Hi bro, I'll make a suggestion, regardless of the game in question, monitor the temperatures of your ps3, it may be, in some cases, overheating due to some acceleration on the part of the RSX, video card, maybe the game has too many graphics variables , and this can heat up the graphics card, it's just a tip, it's not the solution
I say this because it already happened to me in RDR, I solved the problem by changing the thermal paste and leaving the cooler at 35%, for me it solved, and this only happened in RDR Red dead redemption

. Lets say its that overheating problem, then loading the game with a mod menu should work if i just turned on my ps3, right? Cause its the first time today that i turned on my ps3 and just tested it out, no luck, still that lets say ps3 suicide.
cpu temperatur: 57°C and rsx temperatur: 55°C
so whats the problem that my ps3 couldnt handle and lets her kill herself? thats so weird.

edit: just asking cause im curious, i dont have to do something with that sprx file? like edit oder decrypt that with a program. i never did that before cause i just need to copy paste it, but who knows, maybe something is different on hen ._.

Man, there are so many hypotheses for a device to turn off that it is difficult to say something concrete that will solve it, but you must go in stages and add things to your game and testing. I would do it this way: color just one Eboot and test. If it worked, try to put an SPRx and test. Go this way until you find which file is making your ps3 turn off. No one better than you to find out, do it in stages and everything you do, test. I'm sure you will solve this, and if you need help call us in chat, we are here to try to help in the best way possible.

thx man, really appreciate your help. so im going to test every eboot that i have with that sprx file from the public cheater menu, right? and just for my knowledge, the actual mod menu is the sprx file or the modded eboot that i put in there? thankks for everything

That bro, make the changes in the game and always test! And do it in stages so you know exactly what's going wrong ok. I've always done it this way and that's why today I can help, by doing it in stages. If you modify the game a lot, you will never know where the error is, it is much easier to find the error (incompatibility) Good luck and let us know by chat ok bro
