Active Touch System
The new Active Touch System basically changes the way you receive and kick the ball, providing more control, improved fluidity, more creativity and a more realistic player personality.
The FIFA 19 Active Touch system is a revolution in what you can do with the ball in your foot, exploring new and unprecedented gameplay areas.
This new way of receiving, finishing and moving with the ball is incredibly natural and fluid, allowing you to play in new and creative ways. Have more control, more personality of the player at every moment and feel inspired by the field with various dribbles, touches, domains and feints that make each touch of the ball smoother and more fluid.
Get More Creativity with Active Touch
Various tools and animations have been added to the ball control system to offer more diversity in ball movement.
In particular, there are now several ways to dominate the ball, such as the "false domain", a feint used to deceive defenders, causing them to move in the wrong direction with a very subtle domain movement. Get closer to the real world using the same moves that stars like Toni Kroos use to create space, fool defenders and create moves for the team.
As well as the new ways to dominate the ball, several touch animations have also been added to offer more creativity in the attack.
Players can use their head, chest, knees and foot to touch the ball, change direction, confuse defenders and free up spaces that can be used. In the same way that Kylian Mbappé tricks defenders with his repertoire of tricks, you can do the same with the ball in FIFA 19, things you never thought were possible. Your opponents will be lost.
By enabling so many innovative methods of interacting with the ball and inserting a greater level of control every moment, Active Touch makes FIFA 19 more realistic than any other period in the series' rich history.
