The Yangtze is the 1st semi untethered Jailbreak for iOS 12. Unfortunately, it wasn't supported for iOS 12 public version or iOS 12.0.1 version yet. It was only supported for iOS 12 beta 12.

Yangtze is IPA based Cydia Impactor method. Yangtze doesn't install Cydia after the Jailbreaking process. It installs own Jailbreak app manager named Yangtze Store.

It has, an insufficient number of Jailbreak tweaks and themes are only available with Yangtze Store.

Yangtze iOS 12 Jailbreak was only available from the Chinese language and English version will be released soon.

Yangtze Jailbreak Compatibility

Currently, Yangtze beta 1 version is only compatible with iPhone 5S.

It may be compatible with iPhone 6, iPhone 6S and iPhone 7 according to developers tweets.

Before Jailbreak

• You should backup your iPhone using iTunes.
  
• It is required to Turn OFF find my iPhone, Passcode and the Touch ID.
  
• Turn ON Airplane Mode during the jailbreak process.

iOS 12 Jailbreak Guide

• 01. Download Yangtze IPA from above link to your computer.
  
• 02. Connect your device to the computer using USB Cable.
  
• 03. Launch Cydia Impactor and drag and drop Yangtze IPA to Cydia Impactor to install Yangtze app on your device.
  
  
  
  04. Then run Yangtze app from your device and tap on the Jailbreak button to start the jailbreak process.
  
  
  
  05. A few seconds later, It will complete Yangtze jailbreak process, and it installs Yangtze Store on your iOS 12 device.
