no problem, there is a version checker you can run like doing an update. put version checker in PS3 UPDATE folder and run like an update, it will tell you the minimum fw of that ps3

the 25xx also includes 3.60 im confused , u said only 3.55

there are 10 versions of 2500, 7 can be done and 3 can not so on 3500 use vercheck to verify minimum fw for that ps3
