    Hey can anyone help me with my PS3 when I go and turn it on it goes straight to safe mode and when I I go to update my PS3 it's says no update found how do I fix that

    I made a PS3 folder on my USB and then in side of the PS3 folder I made a UPDATE folder and then I put the PS3UPDAT.PUP file in side of the UPDATE folder and it does not work

    Did you name the PS3 folder correctly? It needs to be just "PS3" without the quotes.

    So, the directory will look something like this G:\PS3\UPDATE
    I'm on G drive, but obviously yours can be whatever letter.

    first try to pull out your HDD and put it back in it should start up FW
