4.46 DEX to 4.55 CEX error!

hey console crunch can you help me out? im trying to go from 4.46 to 4.55 and i rename to PS3UPDAT.PUP and i go system update when storage media and when i click on 4.55 PS3DAT.PUP its blank like its black the latters and i go to click on it and it says the data is corrupted (8002cca) help please?

It's because you simply can't install a a cex fw over a dex fw. You have to switch from dex to cex in order to install cex fw in the future.
