i would like to suggest that the shoutbox should be removed. Not entirely, accessible to staff members and premium members only. The reason for this is because this will increase more communication in the forums online, more threads being made. I'm making this thread because if someone gives some useful advice in chat, our future members won't see it because it hasn't been posted in a thread. Many will disagree with this but I'm only thinking about the sites future as I don't see this site lasting any longer.

I agree with you dev but again I could see this making the site more inactive because allot of members come here just for the chat. Yes. this would increase the posting activity because people will need to make a thread to ask a question. This would be great I typically encourage people to make a thread when they ask a question in the chat. However I believe that this site will need to transition into more general gaming with a little modding. When the PS4 and Xbone gets a publicly released mod. I dont think it will be huge like the PS3 due to the fact of PS+. Many known and popular forums doesn't have a SB such as reddit
