Hey Crunchers
So my last drone related news was in regards to GoPro dropping the news and reveal of the new drone "Karma" its sleek, its sexy, and it can fold up to be put in its case. This week, DJI releases its new drone "Mavic Pro" Honestly its to beat the competition this year you can tell. But well see as to if thats possible with what we know.
DJI Mavic Pro $999.00:
- Upto 40mph Speeds
- Upto 27min of Battery Life
- Small Enough To Fit In A Small Bag
- Dual GPS Location System
- Unique Drone/Application Features
Drone Details:
- Max Speed: 40mph
- Max Speed w/ Wind Resistance: ??mph
- Max Distance: 42240ft (12874.8m)
- Max Flight Altitude: 16404 feet (5000 m)
- Frequency: 2.4GHz to 2.483GHz
- Max Flight: 27min
What's Included With This Purchase:
- Mavic Pro Controller
-Mavic Pro Drone
- Mavic Pro Drone Battery
- Battery Charger
- 4 Foldable Propellers
So what we know, this drone can fly. No doubt about it. Its distance is insane but as equal if not less then the DJI Phantom 4 drones. Also, something that runs in the family of DJI drones. A custom DJI camera fully installed. Now my thoughts to this, yes its nice they get to throw in there own handy work into their camera but, you dont get to detach it and use it on the go without using the drone. Now of course you perhaps could but lets be honest nobody will be dismantling a $999.00 drone to have to reassemble it later to use the camera on it again. Transport wise this is better then the Karma. Bang for your buck? Its terrible. If you want max distance to be inside clouds, to almost hit planes, to touch the sky where you just dont need to. Then all means, get this drone however its a pretty penny to spend for such a small package. I on the other hand will be looking towards GoPro for the Karma as its a better choice, has as good specs, not distance wise for flying but thats not the main reason to get it. It also comes with a detachable stabilizer and grip for on the go without the drone. Of course you will need your Hero 4 or 5 for the Karma. If you already have a Hero 4, then just get the proper stabilizer case, but if you want the newest and best options then get the Hero 5 Black. If you get the Hero 5 Black with the Karma separate it will cost around $1,200, but if you get the Hero 5 Black with Karma it will be around $1,100.
