Hello CC,
So since there is very few tutorials about editing props in the creator to create races and deathmatches with modded props I have made this guide.
Editing the props
So since there is very few tutorials about editing props in the creator to create races and deathmatches with modded props I have made this guide.
Editing the props
1. First extract the files for the creator you want to edit which can be found in update.rpf > ps3 > patch > levels > gta > script > script.rpf
the files are fm_capture_creator.csc, fm_deathmatch_creator.csc, fm_lts_creator.csc and fm_race_creator.csc
2. Open the csc file you wish to edit in HxD and press CTRL + R to open the replace menu then in the search for box put the hexadecimal hash of the prop you want to replace and in the replace with box put the hexadecimal hash of the prop you wish to replace it with and set the data type to hex and search direction to all.
Then click replace all and save.
For a list of the default props and their corresponding hashes click here.
3. Import the edited csc back into the scripts.rpf file and save both rpfs
Precisely positioning props
the files are fm_capture_creator.csc, fm_deathmatch_creator.csc, fm_lts_creator.csc and fm_race_creator.csc

3. Import the edited csc back into the scripts.rpf file and save both rpfs

Precisely positioning props
1. Spawn in a prop with the creator
2. Go into on the ground view in the creator
3. Open lexicon and go to World Options then Entity Control Options then look at the prop and click Add to Manager
4. In lexicon go to Object Options then Object Spawner then Manage Spawned Entities then click on the prop and you can freely move and rotate it
Put the trigger almost anywhere
[Spoiler]
1. Open AP ii go to Object options then spawn in a ferris wheel
2. Go to move last object and set the roll to 90 and position it where you want the trigger
3. Place the trigger
Note - If you want to put the trigger under the sea you can just delete the sea with LTS tool and if you want to put it in a building you can just use lexicon no clip and if you place the trigger in a location classified as San Andreas in the load creation screen it won't work on current gen
Thanks
