Error Code (80710016) Fix

Hello Fellow Crunchers,

Most of you are aware of the error message 80710016 (Email and Password is incorrect), that has been a known issue when trying to sign in to PSN lately.

We have came together with a solution that can work with getting this issue fixed and credits to our staff for providing members with the knowledge in making this a success.

STEPS IN FIXING THIS ERROR:

1. Log into PlayStation Network (PSN) using via PC, Android or IOS.

2. Do ensure to complete the two step verification, then create a temporary password.

3. Use this temporary password to login on your PS3 and you can then update it, if necessary (If you think it is safe to use your own password)

If there is any additional information to add, I will keep this thread updated. Let me know what you guys think!

This is more likely to be an IP BAN, you can either unplug your router and wait 10 mins for the Mac Address to update or use a VPN.
