Square Enix opened the beta at 09:00 BST/01:00 PT this morning, and will close it at approximately 09:00 BST/01:00 PT on Monday 7 April.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, developed and published by Square Enix, was released on 27 August 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. As of February 2014, the game had over 1.8 million players. The PlayStation 4 version of the game is due for release on 14 April 2014.
