Sony has released a free update to The Playroom, PlayStation 4’s pre-loaded augmented reality application, which adds a new Ninja Bots game.
Ninja Bots allows up to four players to compete in a race as they dodge and jump their way through the course. You’ll also be able to launch shurikens at enemy ronin bots blocking your way in order to collect coins.
Like the rest of The Playroom, Ninja Bots requires a PlayStation Camera.
Earlier this month, we learned that GameStop raised the price of the PlayStation 4 Camera, which is proving difficult to find at most major retailers. The retailer is now selling the accessory for $70, a full $10 above its normal $60 asking price. The Camera’s currently out of stock at GameStop as well as other major retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, and even Sony's official website.
Sony has been fairly quiet about The Playroom since the launch of the PS4. We last reported on it in November 2013, when Twitch had to remove multiple Playroom streams on account of lewd behaviour.
