Help getting console off of a ps3

I have a PS3 with YLOD. I'm borrowing a heat gun from a friend tomorrow and I'm hoping to get it going at least long enough to get the console I.D. So I was just wondering how I go about doing that? lol. I did get a liitle app for computer called GetconsoleID.exe I guess it works by dropping a LV2 dump in it. How do I go about getting the dump, isn't there a way to through Multiman? Or is there another way you recomend to go about this altogether? One last thing... I need to get both the IDPS (Console I.T) and the PSID right? Oh and one more, this is it I swear lol. In the unfortunate case that I can't get that ps3 running it there any way to get the IDs off of it? Sorry for the novel and thanks so much for your help!!

If you manage to get it running with a heat gun then you could be as quickly get the console id through multiMAN or dump lv2.

Yeh, its under system information. There are alot of scammers so I would not recommend buying them.

I follow both of these groups on facebook and they both SEEM pretty reputable, but like you said, it's hard to say. The first one has almost 2k followers but cost almost 50$. The second one is a little cheaper at 35$.

the only way you can get a cids id private from a other ps3 is use the e3 flasher dump your lv2 and there you go!!! easy way

No I'm just fixing a console that has YLOD and then I was wondering best method to get the idps and psid off of it once it's running.
