Hi Crunchazz, this is my tutorial on how to change your console ID for BOOT UP.
This means that you won`t have to start up control console everytime you want to change your console ID.
You basicly just type in your console ID in the tool, and it will stay like it forever(you can change it of course) So when you turn off your PS3 the console ID won`t reset.
Things required :
NOTE :
This only works for ITA firmwares, so 4.40/4.55.
So this won`t work for for REBUG or any other firmwares.
Tutorial :
Step Number 1 : Install the homebrew app CFW Setup v4.0.1, plug your USB into your PC, and drag the PKG file on the root of your USB.
Stem Number 2 : Start your PS3, plug in your USB, and go to install package files, now you install the one you just downloaded.
Step Number 3 : Start up the homebrew app CFW Setup v4.0 that we just installed.
Step Number 4 : Once you are in the application you should see the option called Change console I, click it. Then a keyboard should pop up, in here you wanna write your Console ID. Now click Save settings and exit
Now if you reboot your PS3, you should see that the console ID you just wrote should stick.
Hope this tutorial helped you! Seeya later
