Hello CC, So this is my first time writing and tutorial and i know loads of these have been made but i wanna try and make a simple and easy too follow one so please dont hate for lack of knowing
So first im gonna start with .self
step 1. download files that are requested = ( https://www.mediafire.com/?6ftyn9dlcmvgt0b )
step 2. Extract the downloaded files too desktop.
step 3. open PS3 debug folder .
Notice if your doing and .self you wanna place the .self in the self folder.
or if your doing a eboot place it in the root of the folder ps3 debug files.
Now Lets start by decrypting the files first im gonna do the self file so start (resigner.exe)
Now type ( 4 ) and press enter.
Now that you see what i see type 1 and press enter.
Now that its decrypted you should see 2 files in the self folder.
Now copy the .elf file and so back too ps3 debug files.
now that where back here click make_fself and open it.
now that where in here paste the file you copied.
ok so now that is all done hold (shift + right click).
now that you done that you should see ( Open Command windows here ) press that.
now type make_fself your fine name mine was default_mp.elf and add at the end your file name so ill be using it like this default_mp.self.
now that you have done that press enter.
now go back to make_fself folder and you should have 2 files now.
now your done making the .self file witch means its a debug .self just replace in your game folder and you should be able too connect with tools and you can delete the .elf file now as its not needed.
Okay Now lets start with the Eboot.bin.
so its just the same but using a bin instead so open ps3 debug files.
now copy your eboot file in the root.
Now that you have done that open ( Resigner.exe ).
okay so now that is open type ( 1 ) and press enter.
so once that has finished go back too ps3 debug files and you should have 2 files now
so once you see it copy the .ELF to make_fself
now where gonna press (shift + right click )
now again press open command windows here
okay so now that where have this open where gonna type ( make_fself eboot.elf eboot.bin
now press enter and go back too make_fself folder and you should now have two files
now you done you can now delete the ELF one but keep the bin one and copy it too your game and you should be able too connect and mod.
