First you will need to decided what vpn you want to use i recommend using a paid one as your speed will most likely be terrible if you use a free one.

Once you have chosen your preferred vpn service you will need to connect your ps3/ps4 to your pc/laptop with a crossover (Ethernet) cable. When you have connected your ps3/ps4 to your pc/laptop turn the vpn on. Then go to control panel,network setting's then change adaptor settings.
When your on change adaptor settings right click on TAP-Windows Adaptor v9 and go to properties then go on to sharing and select allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection and select Ethernet from the drop down list.
When you go on to your ps3/ps4 go to setting's,network setting's then go set up internet connection select use a lan cable then select easy and do not use a proxy server when promoted then test connection and it should work fine. Any problems feel free to pm me about it.
