Hi Crunchers,
Breaking News!!!
[The first flight of the New Blue Origin Shepard rocket and capsule will take place on July 20,2021 and one seat will be auctioned off to the highest bidder]
The Blue Origins space shuttle found by the Amazon's Rocket Company, announced for the first flight aboard it's new rocket designed to carry six passengers, will take place on July 20, 2021 and one of those seats will be auction to the highest bidder
The Amazon's Rocket Company stated that the auction will be held in three parts on BlueOrigin.com
The money raised from this auction will be donated to the Blue Origin Foundations and the Club for the Future campaign which promotes education initiatives
The Blue Origin Company did not mention how much it would cost for other seats aboard the space shuttle, even though tickets are in the range of several hundreds of thousands of dollars
The New Shepard rocket and capsule which flies independently will take passengers to the "edge of space" which will allow them to experience a few minutes of weightlessness (62 miles above earth) before the rocket touches down
These journeys will be out of reach to many individuals unless you are very wealthy, but this could be an important new chapter for private space flights.
