Modding PS3 and games illegal ?

Guys I wanted to know that is it legal to mod PS3 and games on the PS3 and earn money from it ??? LET ME KNOW ASAP !
 
I Don't think "Modding" The game is the illegal part, being online on cfw is yes because it breaches sonys T&Cs
 
Modding The Game it Self Isnt Illegal, However Owning A CFW / Modified Ps3 Is Illegal!

Well i guess you are right but i wouldnt think a game company will sue you for modding a 'Game'!
