need help from anyone that has or knows if its possible

okay so i know its cheap but i have 2 kids and a wife ann a house so dont give me no grief i dont care for it i need help i have a console and i need to use hdmi cause my component port is broken but my tv doesn't have hdmi its got rgb but no hdmi port so im hoping i can splice an hdmi to rbg cable temporarily till i get a new tv so if someone has done it before or knows how or someone who has please respond or pm me i need some help

You would need a adapter or converter, its not that simple as cut here solder there and good to go. It is possibly possible to do so, video to video however i just wouldnt suggest trying so if you dont even the knowledge of it you know. I suggest running to a nearby Radio Shack and get a RGB to HDMI adapter or HDMI to RGB adapter.
