PS3 Need help making menu

I need help making a gta iv mod menu, I don't need to make a huge menu, I just want something I can be proud to say I made. I have all the programs I think, If anyone is willing to help that would be really great. I don't expect to make to complete it in a while, ti will be a project of mine. I just want to get into coding, and this is a great way for me learn. Thank you for taking time to read this.

I asked for the "laboratory" to go public
so we can release some sources for them they can start with.

Atm im busy with release but after that i will put my time in it so we have a new crew of ppl releasing new shit again. GTA4 is still VERY alive and we tend to keep it that way!

Anoyone know of a good menu base I can use? I want to make a .sco so people can add it to their loaders, it will be a menu solely for helping non-modders, and yourself.

I am not the best at coding but I would try the XMC 3.5 source code. Maybe try making map mods and funny cars before jumping straight into making a menu. Up to you, hope whatever you do comes out amazing tho

Im thinking of releasing MY base, of course ironed out so u guys can work on that IF u want.

That would be a Modloader (to load .sco's) and a modmenu, to add code urself. so 2 bases

i think i could present a base that is sooo easy, everyone could start with it.
After release ill work on that in the hope more ppl start coding on it again.

Firstly, when you said you want to create a menu for non-modders and yourself, that's possible for someone else to have a menu. You can only draw texts on your screen. You can only do so much to help a network player. Back to the subject, to create a menu you'll need a SCOCL project. You can probably find an old trainer source or something online. You will also need notepad++ to code everything in as well as know how to code C. Unless you know how to code C don't waste your time trying because you're only going to run into problems. Also just saying this as a tip, everything that can possibly be in a menu is already created, so I kinda don't understand why you're doing this but it's your choice and time. You're better off going in the same direction as me and just making scripts for other purposes.
