With Prey being stuck in development-hell for the past few years, the new reboot of the original is finally over the horizon. The 2017 reboot was supposed to be a sequel to the original Prey which released in 2006 but now it is a re-imagining of the original game.
However through all of the years of development, being canceled and then re-made, the game is almost here. Bethesda has announced that the game will be released on 05.05.2017 for PS4, XBOX One and PC. Bethesda has also said that players can now start pre-ordering the game.

They have also announced the goodies that players can get for pre-ordering the game. The pre-order pack is called the "Cosmonaut Shotgun Pack" which also comes with some extra starter items, including the Margrave Shotgun, Medkits, some starter Fabrication materials and more.
