rte, weird offset issue

hey guys, i want to know what ur experience is on an issue i've been having recently. i'm trying to mod player stats for a game. no, it's not cod xD, i don't play it.
after having found the number i'm looking for, i make it change by playing a match online and i refresh the results i got to find just few offsets for that value (normally after the first search, there's like more than 1000 results, so i need to search again among those 1000 numbers after the value got modified by the game) i'm sure u guys did this tons of times. the problem is, even if i modify the value and i actually see it changing in the game, if i quit from the game and back up again, it restores the value it had before i modded it. so, i figured the modified value was not sticking, cause i didn't play a match afterwards. sometimes it happens that u need a match after having modified the value to make it stick. well, even if i play another match, it doesn't stick. i really don't know why. any thoughts on this?
just to be more clear, for the same game i'm modding i found some values and i changed them successfully to what i want, for whatever reason though, some don't freaking stick. i modified every offset there was connected to the value i was looking for, so i doubt it's a problem of wrong offsets.

well its like COD if you change ur stats and then log off or what ever shut down ur system your stats will be restores automaticly because you didn't connect ur stats online you have to change it go online find a match join other guys and the stats are set permanent

i did that, but when the match is over the game loads the stats i had before?? wtf?

did you hack the game before ? its proberly a huge server for the game you can't change the offsets off it proberly i donno what game is it ?

is tekken tag tournament 2 man. i modified the number of victories i have with a character to 60000. i'm first in the world right now. lol.. the thing is i wanted to make it look legit and change battle points and games played;i can't. they change but go back to what they were before...i don't understand

Many stat servers are capped, try pushing them slowly until u find the limit. CoD is ugly and cheap, developer view. Most game servers actually do the right thing sanitizing what u send. Theres a motto saying anything coming from user is potentially unsafe, take a simple sample on invisible clases of CoD wich should never exist ^^#
