Wazap CC, I'm back with some more interesting news that has been circulating around the internet for a little while now! Apparently Activision will soon be announcing the PS4 as its new lead console!
NOTE: This is a rumor so and has yet to be proven, so DO NOT expect it to be/come true due to reading the information listed below! Also this information may not be 100% accurate at the moment, but I made sure to do alot of research before posting this thread so it more than likely is.
This information was leaked by "Famousmortimer", who was the same person who leaked that Call of Duty Ghosts being on a lower resolution xbox one than PS4, so this rumor may actually be true. With that being said he could have just made a lucky guess being as though the xbox one has lower tech than the PS4 which would cause it to run at a lower resolution.
It is still unclear that what exactly this rumor means as well. It could mean one of two things, that Call of Duty games will be developed on PS4 then ported to other platforms, or it could mean that the PS4 will recieve all downloadable content first before other consoles. Personally I feel as though that it would be the second of the two because it makes more sense in context. I mean, if they really wanted to develop Call of Duty games on a more advanced platform why not do it on PC?
Now you have to question something, why would Activision even fathom the idea of PS4 being its new leading platform in the first place if this rumor is in fact true? Xbox one sales are significantly lower than the PS4. Sony has also been working with Activision with the new PS4 game Destiny so I would imagine they have been getting pretty "cozy" if you will. If this rumor is in fact false then I wouldnt be surprised if in a couple years from now it actually comes true. What do you think?
