Kali Linux Wifi "Disabled"?

Hey consoleCrunch,I recently installed Kali Linux on my Laptop.In the corner where the wifi icon is had a X on it.Well i found out i needed the driver.I got the driver installed correctly and now i have the option to enable wireless(Which i did) and it wont search for networks.I tried to scan for wifi signals in terminal same thing.Please if you know anything about this Leave a comment

Did you try entering your ssid directly instead of searching for networks ?

yes i did said connected but then i disconnected and tried a random ssid and pass and it connected as well :/

I had this a while ago as my only OS on my PC but no wifi.I had no drivers and I found the Ethernet driver but I move around with my laptop lol, thanks tho
