Nothing should be in back of ps3...
 
Not the place to post this but try applying thermal paste and nake sure tye fan is level and all screws near it are in securely

Try Having a Fan Next To It
put your ps3 in the freezer
 
if your ps3 is overheating then you need to open it up and make sure the fan and cooling fins are free and clear of dust and dirt ---if you know what your doing you might want to replace the thermal crème between the heat sincs and cpu's---use artic silver 5 ---it's the best ----you definitely don't want to keep running it , as it will definitely red light on you ---"EARLY WARNING SIGNS"
