Ps3 stopped working no red light

My kids pressed my buttons on my ps3 till no lights worked ...I tried everything...no luck ...but I found a solution... Unplug power cord.. Hold power button down for 30 sec to release all power inside ps3.. Plug in ps3 then start.
It turned on but won't read games...

Do you get any errors when you try to start a game. If so can you include the contents of the error?

No error..just little load icon on top right turns once and stops.. No read.

ur dvd drive may be faulty have u tried holding the eject button for 20secs until it makes a loud blowing sound?

not really mine was broken for a few days aswell. it turned out to be the gears in the dvd drive that was faulty you may have to open it and check what the issue is

Yeah you will need to buy a new dvd/bluray drive since the laser got fudge or you can just use torrents
