Here is a cool program that i made if you are having temp. problems with your ps3. It is still a bit buggy but if you could give me feed back opn it that would be awesome. In future update it will be more stable and less glitchy and the textures will be upgraded.

Does this actually work? Like notify u when ur system is getting hot? I was gonna see about making a program long time ago to allow u to control ur system temps and change fan speed however could never get such control coded.

Ya check it out in the future it will have fan controls
Say that now :3 But find out u cant code it, u would have to legit make your own dll and homebrew to connect to do so... :tears:

Is it posible that the fan speed is a variable in the memory
Possibly, but unsure i didnt really look into it at the time. Wasnt in the right mind set to take a few days to look into. Might down the road if i get back into developing but at this time eh... lel

Although agree, that this is a great concept, it doesn't work.
In order to shutdown at a certain temperature you need to keep checking the current temperature, and as you keep checking it just makes the playstation hotter.
I would love for this to work but sadly it doesn't really.
But if you can find a way for this to work then that's amazing.
I suppose you could also run a check once per minute and the damage is almost minuscule.
But then again, your program, your decision.

Checking it doesnt make the ps3 hotter, you are just reading from an address.

and all the temperature stuff is stored inside of lv2 memory.

I'm not saying doing one check a minute, I'm talking like 1 check every ten milliseconds.

Doesnt affect temperature.
Games read form LV2 memory all the time.
