Just for future reference, I'm not saying I want to now but I always wonder, how do you end up becoming a admin, chat mod or whatever, is depending on the time and other stuff you commit to here or do you have to pay to be one ?

In order to become someone on a site you need to make posts, help the site among other things to gain reputation, this over time will be achieved by simply engaging in your work that you will be recognized on the site.
