With the Resident Evil 2 Remake Out Now, fans of Capcom’s hugely successful survival-horror franchise are naturally curious about what’s next. Well, if Resetera moderator Dusk Golem is to be believed, then the next Resident Evil project could very well be a full-blown remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
According to Dusk Golem, who has accurately leaked information about the Resident Evil franchise in the past, the Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. remake is already in active development. Dusk Golem didn’t elaborate on how far along the Resident Evil 3 remake is in development or what platforms it’s aiming for, but he did indicate that if both it and the Resident Evil 2 remake sell well, that Capcom may pursue even more remakes in the future.
If a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is in the works, it wouldn’t be all that surprising. After all, Capcom has said in the past that it considers remakes and remasters a central pillar in its strategy moving forward. Plus, there is significant buzz surrounding the Resident Evil 2 remake, to the point that the game took home numerous awards at this past year’s E3 event, so it’s likely a Resident Evil 3 remake would enjoy a similarly positive reception.

The Resident Evil 2 remake selling well seems like a foregone conclusion, even though it’s releasing against the likes of Kingdom Hearts 3. And if the Resident Evil 2 remake is as successful as some have predicted, then it stands to reason that the possible Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake will do just as well. There seems to be a genuine appetite from gamers to revisit these horror classics with updated gameplay and graphics, so it makes sense that Capcom will keep developing them.
I Would Love To See how This Game would be like if they have this many
success with the resident evil 2 remake imagine how Resident Evil 3 Remake would be like
