Sony has uploaded the PS5UPDATE.PUP version 20.02-02.20.00 of 828MB for the update and the PS5UPDATE.PUP of 960MB for a full reinstallation.

PS5 system software features

Update your PS5 console with the latest system software. You can also check out the features available in the update here. Additionally, you can view the online user guide in the Settings menu of the PS5 console. Version 20.02-02.20.00.

Here is what this update officially brings:

- This update fixes access to PS4 games saved on external storage once you connect them to the PS5's USB port
- PS4 games are now recognized and executed without having to copy them to the PS5 SSD
