GTA 4 Multiplayer shutdown?

I understand if this may not be the correct thread to post this, but it has now been day 2 of GTA 4 multiplayer not working. (on PS3)

Does anyone have any information?

Game will say "Disconnected from game session. Returning to single player..." after trying to start any Multiplayer game. I hope the game hasn't finally been put to rest.

It would be no surprise. Scamstar Games probably wants to force people on GTA 5 so they can keep making more money off of us.

After some digging, it seems PlayStation has said "You might have difficulty launching games, apps, or network features. We're working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."

So maybe, GTA 4 might be coming back... eventually.

According to https://status.playstation.com, it is a PSN issue with other games to, not just GTA 4.

Suspiciously the article you provided had a DIFFERENT DATE on it yesterday. It was posted sometime in 2020! They might of updated the article recently for attention.

Also in the article it clearly says "Starting 03/19/2020...", which is more proof that the article is old and most likely false.

I think it was all a false alarm, and hopefully everything will be back online soon. Although it has been several days. :/

Same thing for me too, Lowkey thought it was my error cause I haven't messed around with my jailbreak in years so I reinstalled the game. Hopefully the servers or whatever problem is fixed soon.
