1. Rename MODDED_update.rpf to update.rpf
2. Replace update.rpf in your dev_hdd0/game/BLUS/USRDIR directory
3. Place script.rpf in the 'gta' folder on your USB and place it in ps3's usb slot which is dev_usb000 (right-most port)

I dontunderstand it says place script in the 'gta' folder but I don't have one?

so i used filzilla to place the update file bt confused about script do we just make a "gta" folder on any usb stick and put it in there? lol
