Hey Crunchers! Someone asked me a question about how they could get a CCAPI 2.00 tool to work on CCAPI.250.

The first thing you want to do is to REPLEACE this Ps3Lib.dll with the PS3Lib.dll in the folder of your tool.

PS3Lib.dll Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/zsqwa6cmyafwwtd/PS3Lib.dll

Once you have replaced the PS3Lib.dll with the one you just downloaded. You want to delete the CCAPI.dll file in your tool.

Now you are done! You can now use CCAPI 2.00 tools with CCAPI 2.50 :)

Hope this tutorial helped some of you. :)

But you missed one thing. Some tools which are running on 2.00 need ccapi.dll because they're coded to look for the dll. So if you delete the ccapi.dll, the tool will tell you it's missing the dll. Replacement of the ps3lib doesn't fix it. The only logical solution is, to delete the code for looking after the ccapi.dll. But most tools are encrypted so ****. Tmapi ftw!

Yeah TMAPI is obviously the best.

But this turotial will work for some tools.

Those that are coded to look for the CCAPI.DLL, is not possible to do anything about (Unless we have the source code)

:P

Correct. I just wanted to prevent the kids to get frustrated why some tools still doesn't work with this Tut due to coding. Example, the CoD Real time Editor from Anera doesn't work for this method. I was curious last time and thought why not test it out? Same with kiwis. I'll check it out later that day. Anyway if it doesn't work with 2.50, I don't care because tmapi. ;-) :-P
