Where's the Virus Scan from Virus Total? I'm pretty sure that this is legitament and won't really harm my computer or ps3 as a result of malware, but I'm just trying to be safe here...

What else on my part can I do to see how legitiment this eboot.bin is?

exactly : The one that was used before I start modding
Alrighty. Anway, how legitimate do you think that Angus's eboot.bin file is? I mean, I did a scan with virus total and out of the 90 vendors, 1 said that it was malicious. Below is the link to it:

https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/...f7cb004fbe75dcc1f00bb70b7845b5b14f8/detection

The administrator suggested that I check with a virtual machine to further test the legitimacy of it. However, since I'm a noob to virtual machines, I can't tell if Im browsing the web using the virtual machine or the physical computer because I don't really know how to use virtual machines. And what really sucks is although there's plenty of info on how to create one, I can't find like any YouTube videos of someone actively using one!

Since everything on my PS3 is backed up, do you think that I should just go ahead and download Angus's eboot.bin file even if I don't test it with virtual machine first?
