    Sounds like a cable problem. With my experience with the RSX Chip or GPU, when it looses video and goes bad, its the Green Light Of Death (GLOD). (A contant green light). When that happens, not only with you loose video but your controllers will not snyc to your PS3. So I would troubleshoot...

    Getting error when opening RTM Tools

    you have to install the correct version of Ccapi on your PC. For instance, if your RTM Tool needs Version 2.60 Ccapi to connect and attach, you cannot run version 2.70 Ccapi on your PC unless you change the .dll's. If you Google your problem, you'll find all the info you need to get it working...

    Have you ever connected a RTM Tool? Go to your Debug Settings. Scroll down to Boot Mode. Make sure your boot mode is set to System Software Mode. Restart ps3 to take effect. If that isn't the problem, check to make sure your PS3 I.P. address did not change. If it did, just re-add your target...
