How about you have a desktop and hate moving to rtm?well if you own a smart phone (android or apple iphone) you can rtm from anywhere in the houseall you need to do for each device-Android- search google play for Teamviewer iphone- app stre for teamvieweripad- appstore for teamviewer HDpc- TeamViewer - Free Remote Control, Remote Access & Online Meetings (teamviewergo into settings on teamviewer forpc and set a permanent connction password go on your device, enter 9 digit connection number and 4 digit passwordfrom box on pc into devicethats it!
You control your pc from your device! you can also use ftp and things too. Now you never have to move again enjoynotesyou must have teamviewer open at all times on computeri just have my laptop closed and hdmi to tv so i just use my ipad to connecte

Splashtop2 is very similar to TeamViewer but in my opinion is more responsive to touch, you can easily move through your desktop with your fingers.
