Destiny 1 Keeps Freezing at Same Point (PS3 CFW REBUG 4.84)

Hi everyone, so I have been trying so hard to fix this problem without having to post a thread but unfortunately here I am. This is my first time posting something on here so please be kind . I'm fairly new at the whole jailbreaking scene and I recently downloaded Destiny and installed it into my hdd. Here are the specs:

- PS3 Slim (CECH2501A)
- 4.84.1 REBUG REX CFW COBRA 8.01 compatible
- mmCM Verison 04.85.01
- webMAN MOD 1.47.25
- Currently on DEX

(If you need more information, I will be glad to give it to you)

This is my process:

1. Start PS3
2. Open MultiMan
3. Load Destiny from MultiMan
4. Open PSNPatch 2017.02/B (latest edition to my knowledge)
5. Hold down X to Spoof CID/IDPS and Disable CFW
6. Open Destiny
7. Press X to start game
8. Select Character
9. Crash PS3
10. Connect Controller to PS3 in order to reboot
11. Reboot

Before I encountered these issues, I was able to get the game to work for about an hour but then I was game banned for using a RTM tool without PSNPatch. (should have known better) I have acquired a new CID and was able to get back online but unfortunately I cannot seem to get past the "Select Character" screen.

I have no idea what the problem could be. I have reinstalled the game twice, extracted the ISO and tried to run that instead, rebuilt the database from the PS3 Boot Recovery Menu, tried all of the Plugin memory usage options from the webMAN setup page, reinstalled the original eboot, checked the Game files through the PS3 XMB menu, and switched between multiple PSN accounts but unfortunately I have run out of options. I have searched extensively on google and youtube to find a solution but I never found a solution. I ran other games to check and see if the problem was hdd related but all other games work. I hope someone can help me fix this issue!

(EDIT) Also, I am using SEN Enabler to spoof to 4.85
(EDIT) Reinstalled CFW and it seemed to be working after the new installation (able to select character and play destiny) so I tried to install CCAPI 2.80 on ps3 and as soon as I loaded back into Destiny, I started crashing again at the "select character" screen. So I thought, maybe the crashing has something to do with CCAPI on my PS3. So I uninstalled CCAPI on my ps3 and BINGO, Destiny works like a charm. It seems as if Destiny does not like it when I have CCAPI installed on my ps3. How can I use my RTM tool when CCAPI doesn't want to work with destiny?

I think its the game it self did you try to download the other copy of the game if thats not it then its either the eboot or update you put in

I edited the post. It seems like CCAPI was the culprit in causing my PS3 to crash when I would select a character in Destiny. How can I avoid crashing? Maybe downgrade to a earlier version of CCAPI?

I've had the same crash happen for the longest time. I postponed trying again for about a year, until now. Same thing is happening. I even went as far as trying both BLUS and BLES versions, just to make sure that patches and everything else was fine. Now, I had not tested CCAPI being the culprit for me too. I usually swap my IDPS and PSID using it. I'll have to give it a try and see what happens.

Ok, so after some hours of testing, I can confirm that the following will let you play Destiny using any RTM tool and CCAPI. The steps are a pain in the ass but it has worked 100% of the time for the past 9hrs.

1) Start PS3
2) If you have CCAPI installed (not the app, but the plugin) uninstall it. If you don't have it installed, don't do anything here.
3) Load your game with multiMan
4) Unload multiMan

** This steps is optional, but for account safety I've been using it **
5) Load PSNPatch and keep X pressed.
** I do it with X because I already have a psnpatch.cfg on my console with a purchased disposable PSID and IDPS **

6) Start Destiny
7) Sign in to PSN while in game
8) Select your character. You should load into orbit if done right.
9) Turn off the console with PS Button
10) Start PS3
11) Install CCAPI plugin
12) Let console restart.
13) Load your game with multiMan
14) Unload multiMan
15) Load PSNPatch and keep X pressed.
16) Start Destiny
17) Sign in to PSN while in game
18) Select your character. You should load into orbit if done right.
19) Load a misson / strike / patrol
20) Once you have landed, connect your RTM tool.

Ok. This let's you play. Thing is, the game will still crash randomly at any time, could be once you trigger a function on your RTM, at the end of a strike, etc.

If that happens you need to do every step in order again.

Edit1: Forgot to add, if you end your gaming session, next time you want to play you have to start from step 1.

Since this thread is sitll regarding D1 I want to post here my testing regarding account bans.

• Account 1: RTM - 1 Hit Kill on Bosses only > Banned Lvl 16
• Account 2: RTM - 1 Hit Kill on Bosses only > Banned Lvl 15
• Account 3: RTM - Infinit Ammo, Enemies Ignore, No Recoil > Banned Lvl 10
• Account 4: NO RTM - CCAPI Still installed > Banned Lvl 15

Doing a test on Monday or next weekend without CCAPI installed.
