I present an application that I developed allowing you to switch between several DEX firmwares or reset your console if you encounter bugs.
You can also switch from CCAPI versions between 2.60 and 2.70 in seconds with the condition of having a compatible firmware.
The app also updates or copies all homebrews listed in the list below.
For the moment the application is compatible only for consoles in DEX.
Function of DEX Switcher:
Copies all the DEX firmwares in the list below to the hard disk of the PS3 (no need of USB key to change firmware)
- 3.55 Downgrader DEX
- 3.55 Rogero DEX V2
- 4.46.1 DEX Rebug
- 4.65.2 DEX Ita
- 4.75.3 Rebug D-REX
- 4.76.1 Rebug D-REX
- 4.78.1 Rebug D-REX
Updates and / or copies all of the following homebrews in their latest versions
- Rebug toolbox in version 02.02.09
- PS3 ITA Manager 1.52 (only used to control the console fan if you switch to a 4.46 rebug)
- SEN Enabler in version 5.9.3
- CCAPI in version 2.60 V7
- CCAPI in version 2.60 V7
- CCAPI in version 2.70 V2
- Prep NTFS in version 1.13
- CFW SETUP (only for DEX ITA 4.65.2)
- PSN PATCH in version 2015 11 / A
- Multiman version 4.78.00
- Movian: Successor of Showtime in version 4.0
For firmwares, if you want to remove some of them from the list on your console, you can do so by using the "Delete Update Data on system storage" function, then choose the firmware you want to remove from the list.
note that there are some jailbroken consoles with a basic firmware in 3.56 (these consoles represent less than 1 % of the jailbroken consoles park) you can not dowgrade to 3.55 coz you brick.
To know your basic firmware, install this application and go in the option show the applicable firmwares if you want to go to 3.55, this will tell you the firmware exiting the factory of your console
You can not connect to the PSN with a 3.55 firmware, no spoof n is available
You must only install a spoof on the 4.46 rebug, all other firmwares have an integrated spoof allowing you access to the PSN.
For the Dex ita 4.65.2 you can connect directly to the PSN
For the firmwares rebug (except 4.46) installed the rebug toolbox corresponding to the firmware, launch it in the tab Selector: System mode: Rebug> Toogle Q.A COBRA: Enabled> Toogle Webman Enabled
only for the rebug 4.46 do not put in the rebug toolbox rebug mode
