Differences about CID & PSIDS?

Hi I just bought a CID from a dude and he gave me both a CID & PSID. Now my question is, what are the differences? If they're both the same thing do I use them the same way? Because One is labeled as CID, and the other is labeled as PSID and I just want to know the reason for that. I understand the concept for CID but the PSID is what's throwing me off.

cid is what unbans your account psid is what unbans ur psn account if u get me...

Okay so for PSID, would I put that on the bottom part where it says PSID Changer on Console Manager?
