Does anybody else feel homesick when going on vacations?

I don't know why, but it seems every time I try to go out and have fun for a week I get really homesick. I am now in Florida and my home is in Wisconsin, and now I feel very homesick and it has only been a day already. I was just wondering if anyone else has felt homesick. I just get really depressed and have anxiety and I get pissed off and just not having fun at all, and I really do miss home. Do you guys know anyway on how to cure this issue? Nothing is really helping.

I've only been on one holiday or vacation as you say, in my entire life. Since I don't have much free time on my hands, with me in college full time. Although the time I did go on holiday, when I came back my surrounding felt strange to me. I got used to the place I was staying at, which was very weird.

I am at the Orange Lake Resort in Orlando, and now I found out I am now running a fever of 102.7. I am very sick and home sick, right when I am trying to have a good time. I live in Wisconsin, and if you live in WI, you know that it's VERY COLD up there right now and it's winter, down here in Florida, its paradise, it's beautiful and it's summer. Right when I try to have an experience of a lifetime, I get sick. HipHip Horayyyy for me.

Although I am homesick and don't really know about anything here, it's really nice, and considered to maybe move down here, it's honestly a really nice place to live, besides hurricanes and other such, but this place is amazing, I wanted to stop and visit Miami beach. But in a few day's I'll be going to clear water beach. Should be fun, even though I am sicker than all of hell.

I love Florida, the only thing that I don't like is the pizza. I am from Wisconsin and up there, we are the icon of cheese, we are the cheese state and pizza is like our religion, I live between Wisconsin and Illinois right on the border, Chicago and Wisconsin are like Pizza-a-holics lmfao. but other than that, Florida is kick ass.
