GTA 5 Extortion Help

I am having trouble with modding online PS3 GTA 5 using Extortion. I am to join random public lobbies, and with my forcehost, I am able to host them as well.

The error is that every time I try to join a friend's lobby, I receive an alert: The session you are trying to join could not be contacted. It doesn't happen just once or twice, it happens 100% of the time now. I have done some trial and error to figure out what is the issue. I have updated my firmware (that was not the problem), changed VPN servers and it made no difference. However, when I REMOVED Extortion and was ONLY on James Reborn Mod Loader, I was able to join friends 100% Of the time. So it looks like this is an issue with the Extortion menu because as soon as I put that back on, the issue is there again.

What I am on:

• Extortion fully updated (CEX Version)
• James Reborn Modloader v40
• 4.87 Evil Nat Firmware CFW
• Console ID that is working perfectly
• BLES version of the game
• Forcehost on Extortion
• Octo VPN- Path Servers

What I Have tried:

• Deleting Game data updates and installs, then donig a clean install and update (5 times)
• Downgrading my firmware to 4.82 Rebug Rex and 4.81 then spoofing to 4.87
• Converting from CEX to DEX
• Removing mods and continuing online without mods (THIS WORKED)
• Removing juts Extortion and still using Mod Loader (THIS WORKED)

Is anyone else having this same issue with Extortion? I have a friend on the same stuff as me and they are also receiving this error. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Well I haven't used extortion before but since the files were uninstall and installed again with the same prolong issue...try contacting the extortion devs through their website and create a trouble ticket informing them that with your current menu you are unable to join friendly sessions. This might be a mod menu issue seeing where with the mod loader only, you're able to do so..

Yes thank you! I have done some experimenting and found that it is an issue with the Force Host file within Extortion. When I remove this file, I am to join friends and still have extorion and mod loader. I really like hosting lobbies but it's not as important. I have contacted the Extortion Devs and I am awaiting their response, thank you for your advice!

I noticed that you are having an issue joining your friends online with Extortion. The only reason why that would be the case, as I have tested myself and others, is that the force host prevents you from joining other players with force host enabled in that lobby. So either you or your friend will have to disable forcehost. Also, if you haven’t tried before, make sure to contact us on Extortion’s official discord server so we can help you directly within that server.
