GTA V Online - Very Quick Linux Tunables Setup Guide for Ps3 With Freezing Fix

You must have ubuntu already installed - (I use VMware Fusion on my macbook pro)

set static ip in ubuntu same as your routers network eg 192.168.1.* subnet 255.255.255.0

install charles instructions here:

enabe ip forwarding:

sudo sysctl -w net.ipv4.ip_forward=1
sudo iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port 8888

start charles

on ps3
set static ip address ie 192.168.1.50 (depends on your network)subnet 255.255.255.0
set default gateway to ubuntu machine ip
set dns server to ubuntu machine ip

then import the rewrite rules in charles

set map local file for tunables (stock tunables except rhino tank cost $1500002 to check that it works)

This will work for xbox 360 too but you have to alter the rewrite rules to suit.

For those of you who just came here for the freezing fix (remember to clear your cache or on ps3 reinstall 4.53 PS3UPDAT.PUP)
