Help with ps3

Hey guys I just magically went from 3.55.4 rebug to 4.25.

I am just curious to whether or not you can update via a game if the disc is in the drive whilst up******.

Pretty pissed atm so if anyone could help thanks, be a smart ass well.... Just go for it, make my day.

Yeah, sadly you are able to update your PS3 via disc, this almost happend to me playing MW3, I tought it was a game update but it was a system update actually.
If you are playing copies delete the PS3_UPDATE folder and it wont happen again, if it was an original game...... theres nothing you can do appart from being carefull and not letting the game update.
Im sorry I cannot help you, just give some info, hope you´re able to downgrade it.

Most tutorials these days give you a warning not to have the disc in the PS3 whilst up******. Unlucky bro

disc+drive+and update=brick if you have a e3 flasher just flash it back to 3.55 make sure you the ofw 3.55
