Hey Console Crunch, Recently Ive had a strict/Modeate NAT type and figured out the solution thanks to some helpful internet posts. I thought I would share because this was affecting me when using force host on Call Of Duty.
This will work with for Xbox,PS3 | Original Firmware or Modded
.Go to your PS3
.Navigate to Settings --> System Settings --> Locate 'System Informaton'
.Remember your PS3's IP Address
.Go to CMD(Command Prompt) by pressing the windows key + R and type 'cmd' then hit enter
.Type 'ipconfig'
.Find where it says IPv4.(It should look something like this):

.Go to the desired Browser and in the URL Text box type your IPv4 eg. 192.168.0.14
.Depending on your routers model there will be a assigned Username & Password
.To get the username and password go to google and search your routers model up
.Once you login you will need to navigate DMZ(Might look something like this different for each router)

.Write your PS3's IP address there and Save changes made.
.If necessary restart your playstation and Enjoy Your Open NAT.
.If this didn't work then I would recommend upgrading your shit internet :)

~Peace
