How to get rebug XMB icons on ITA firmwares!

Hi Crunchers, today i will show you how to get the rebug XMB icons for ITA firmwares.

The rebug icons will be like the red PS home icon, and more. With this you will also get the rebug Package manager!.

What you need :

• A USB
• A Cusomt Firmware PS3
• A PC
• A brain

PC Part :


Plug your USB into your PC, and download this homebrew application : http://www.mediafire.com/download/9zycc34n9qwb8gv/Package+Manager.pkg

Drag it onto your USB, and plug the USB into your Playstation 3.

PS3 Part :

Now once you have plugged your USB into your playstation 3, you wanna go to : Install package files, and install the package file that you have on your USB.

Once you are done downloading it, you wanna click on the Homebrew application you just installed.

Once tha Application starts, you wanna click on : R1 + R3. The application should stop for 2 seconds, and you will be taken to the XMB.

Now your icons should look like the rebug icons!

this was the first i did when i went to ita lol i was just lucky though, i just took some of the files from rebug hoping that it was the icons and i was right first try, lucky nice job with the tutorial and getting the download for them as well, keep it up

No, this for 4.++ firmwares as well.

i think it's justthe ITA firmware. it doesnt let me overwrite the flash dev.
