So many of you guys were asking what is now the best CFW or what CFW got the highest ban risk, some are already using '' Rebug 4.65.2 '' but maybe can't sign in or having problems with the disk!
* My friend Maniac made already a problem fix with disks so S/O to him!
So I thought by myself why not post a CEX to DEX and go back to CEX again tutorial for beginners?
I will write it very carefully and will post images so if you got any problems I can reslove it!

* NOTE: IF YOUR DEX DON'T DO THIS! OTHERWISE YOUR PS3 WILL BRICK!
1. Start with downloading the files you need!
- Rebug 4.65.2 & Downgrade 3.55 / CEX to DEX Download

2. If you haven't got WinRaR yet here is the link

3. If you downloaded WinRaR or already got it then extract the file!

1. Start with downloading the files you need!
- Rebug 4.65.2 & Downgrade 3.55 / CEX to DEX Download

2. If you haven't got WinRaR yet here is the link
- http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
3. If you downloaded WinRaR or already got it then extract the file!
4. Open it and go to '' USB Flash Drive '', copy everything in there to you '' USB Flash Drive ''
- Don't copy the PKG Files yet UNLESS you want it! It doesn't matter for the download!
5. Eject your '' USB Flash Drive '' and put in in the RIGHT USB port in your PS3!
6. Go to '' System Update '' then press '' Update via Storage Media ''
- Just press oke and accept the terms and it should update now! After that you will get this screen.
7. Just press your home button what it says on the PS3
8. You should see the Rogero 3.55 downgrader logo when the PS3 starts up again
- If the download didn't worked just go to your PC and put your USB back in and there should be an another file named '' RogerDowngraderRSOD.PUP '', just rename it to '' PS3UPDAT.PUP ''! and delete the othere '' PS3UPDATE.PUP ''
- Do the same thing then what you did before and it should work now!
9. Now if you downloaded the PKG's just got to '' Instal Package Files '' and install the 3 PKG Files!
10. Run Toggle QA, your console should beep 3 times or 2 and it should reboot now!
11. If your console is back up then go to '' Settings '' and go to '' Network Settings ''
- NOW HOLD [ R1, R2, L1, L2, R3, L3 and the D-PAD Down ] THE SAME TIME!
12. You should got this now
13. Go to '' Debug Settings '' then go to '' System Update Debug '' and turn it on!
- It will let you save the 3.55 update or 4.65 update to the Hard Drive so you don't need the USB anymore next time!
14. Go to your PC and put your '' USB Flash Drive '' in it!
- Go to the PS3 Folder then UPDATE folder, then rename the '' PS3UPDAT.PUP '' to '' PS3UPDATrog3.55downg.PUP '' so you don't forget it's the downgrader!
15. Rename the '' PS3UPDATkmeaw3.55.PUP '' to '' PS3UPDAT.PUP '' and save it
16 Go to your PS3 again and plug your '' USB Flash Drive '' in the most right USB port
17. Go to '' System Update '' and then you will get this
- If you want to save it on your Hard Disk for the next time then thick it on otherwise just thick it off!
18. Just press '' X '' and it should download again, IT'S NORMAL TO GET DATA IS CORRUPTED FOR THE FIRST TIME!
Just press '' Circle '' and install it again!
19. The updated should have worked now!
- Delete the Toggle QA, if you never gonna use it again! Because otherwise it's pretty useless.
20. You can see at the '' System Settings '' then " System Info '' that your ps3 is updated to '' 3.55 firmware ''
21. Go to your installed package files and run eEID Root Key Dumper!
- It will make your console reboot with 3 Beeps!
22. Then just delete the eEID Root Key Dumper
23. Go to '' Awesome File Manager '' and run it
24. Go to your left side and go to '' dev_hdd0 '' then go to '' tmp '' then you should see the '' eid_root_key ''
- Go to your right side and go to '' dev_usb000 '' press '' X '' and you should see this
25. Go to the left side and make sure the arrow is on '' eid_root_key '' and press '' circle '' to copy it and press '' start '' then it should be on the right side!
26. Then go back to the XMB menu again, you can delete Awesome File Manager if you want to!
27. Go back to your PC and plug your '' USB Flash Drive '' in then go to your '' USB Flash Drive ''
- Delete the PKG's and then go to '' PS3 '', '' UPDATE '' and rename the '' PS3UPDAT.PUP '' to '' PS3UPDATEkmeaw3.55.PUP '' or delete it!
- Then rename the '' PS3UPDATREBUG_4.65.2_REX.PUP '' to '' PS3UPDAT.PUP ''
28. Go back to your ps3 and put your '' USB Flash Drive '' again in the most right usb port!
29. Go to '' System Update '' and then '' Update Via Storage Media '' then update it!
- IT SHOULD NOT FAIL!
30. If it's done with up****** and your PS3 is rebooted go to '' Network Settings '' under '' Network Settings '' there should be '' Debug Settings ''
31. Go to '' Package Manager '' then '' Install Package Files '' then '' PS3 System Storage ''
32. You should have the '' Rebug ToolBox 02.02.02 pkg '' and install it!
33. If it's done just start up '' RebugToolBox ''
- If you started '' RebugToolBox '' go to '' Utillities '' and go all the way down to '' Export Flash to File ''
- It's gonna created a backup from your '' NOR '' or '' NAND '' depends on what type of console your using!
34. If it's done just press '' OK '' and Quit the '' RebugToolBox ''
35. Go back to your PC and plug in your '' USB flash Drive ''
- Show hidden files and show protected system files!
36. Rename "eid_root_key" to "eid_root_key.bin" and rename your '' .NORBIN '' to '' flashCEX.bin ''
37. Go to the downloaded files in the begin of the tutorial and go to '' C2D ;; and copy it to your '' C: Drive ''!
38. Install "Win32OpenSSL_Light-1_0_1c.exe" (If it doesn't open use the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)" link and download and install it"
39. When your installing the OpenSSL make sure it's installed on the root of your '' C: Drive '' in a folder named '' openssl ''
40. Just let it instal then click finish and you've installed the '' OpenSSL ''
41. Copy the '' eid_root_key.bin '' and '' flashCEX.bin '' files to the '' C2D folder in the '' C: Drive ''!
- Open a CMD and copy the '' C:\c2d '' in the CMD menu
- So it needs to be like this
- Then just press '' enter ''
42. When you did that copy and paste this '' c2d.exe eid_root_key.bin flashCEX.bin flashDEX.bin 82 '' without the quotes and press '' enter ''
- Just close the CMD now and you should have got now a '' flashDEX.bin ''
43. Rename the '' flashDEX.bin '' & '' flashCEX.bin '' to " DEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN '' & '' CEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN ''
- If you have a '' NAND '' Console then type in '' .NANDBIN ''
44. Copy the 2 files to your '' USB Flash Drive ''
- You can delete the '' eid_root_key.bin '' keep the '' CEXflash.bin '' and drop it in the '' c2d '' folder
45. You can change your '' Show hidden files and protected system files '' to normal again
46. Go to your PS3 again and put your '' USB Flash Drive '' in the most RIGHT port!
- Open the '' RebugToolBox '' and go to '' DEX / CEX '' then go to '' Rewrite Target ID in Flash ''
47. Press '' X '' then press '' OK '' press '' YES '' and then again '' YES ''
NOTE! IF YOU DIDN'T DO IT RIGHT DON'T PRESS THE LAST YES!
YOUR GONNA HAVE A BRICKED CONSOLE IF YOU DO THAT!
BE SURE YOU HAVE GOT A BACK UP OF YOUR '' CEX DUMP '' BEFORE YOU DO THIS!
48. Before your gonna reboot the PS3 go to '' Swap LV2 Kernel ''
- Click '' OK '' and you are now on a DEX firmware!
49. If you wanna change back to '' CEX '' firmware got to your '' RebugToolBox '' go to '' Swap LV2 Kernel '' again and press '' X ''!
