The developer Zar, who is well known for his manager ManaGunZ, returns to the PlayStation 3 scene with a new version of IDPSet. You may remember but this tool will need to permanently modify the PS3 IDPS and PSID console.
The tool is compatible with CEX and DES consoles, and can be used under complex CFWs such as Rebug. To get the information insert your USB key with eid_root_key and valid idps.bin to the root. After starting the program, you will be able to edit the IDPS, and save the EID0 and EID5.
IDPSet is a tool to make CEX and DEX dump and you can permanently change your console IDPS (NAND and NOR) and change the PSID too. You just have to run IDPSet on your CFW (with eid_root_key and valid idps.bin on the root of your USB key).
It can generate a DEX and CEX dump of the current NOR/NAND that is compatible with the REBUG switch CEX<->DEX function. Easy to use, Windows is not needed!
