Today, developer flatz has released a tool that allows PS3 OFW/CFW owners to extract their IDPS (Console ID) from their consoles without the need of downgrading.

Privet, PS3 fans! Once KaKaRoTo published his backup tool I’ve decided to bring a way of getting a console ID (IDPS) to the community. It can be used on OFW/CFW firmware and you don’t need any additional software/hardware installed on your PS3.

However there are several cons about releasing:
1. A big company will fix it in the next firmwares.
2. It can be used to steal other people’s IDs if you have an access to their consoles.

And it seems this is the only method of getting console ID without using hardware solutions on the moment. So please, if you want to get an IDPS from your console then do it as fast as possible because I think this method won’t work in the nearly future.

How it works:
IDPstealer works as a proxy server and intercepts all network traffic (including SSL traffic via HTTPS over HTTP tunneling) and it tries to get IDPS from it. It doesn’t contains any malicious code and can be safely used like any other proxy server.

Open the command line, then change the working directory to the program directory and run it with an additional argument for an output file​

that's what the code should look like (of course the path of your will be different) And if you did correctly then it should say starting proxy server on + computers IP
so now go to your ps3 Choose wifi, next next ,until you see proxy server go to use write the IP of your PC and in port its 1337.Hope all works

1) Open CMD then drag idpstealer.exe on it then press space -p 1337 idps.bin
2) if you did correctly should say starting proxy server on + your IP
3) go to ps3 >>Network>>Connection Settings>>custom>put all your shit in next next next then once you see proxy server put the IP that it said on your pc and in port put 1337.Then click say you don't need to test.Then go to whats new should just go to blank screen then go to ps3 should say idps has been written to idps.bin
