Hello, could any of you tell me if there's a way to run a public Console ID for all eternity? So that I never have to change my Console ID to play online again?
And also, is there some way in which I can view my friend's NONjailbroken PS3 ID? I would know how to check a jailbroken PS3's ID, but not with a Non Jailbroken one. :/
Thanks.

lol haha you evil, trying to steal your friends console id lol! but this is how it works: if you ever go online with a console id and it gets PSN banned you will NOT get thrown offline, you just won't be able to come back online on it if you go offline.

but if it gets banned from gta v online forexample then you will get kicked out from gta online and it will say that your console id has been banned...

but if you go on forexample black ops 2 which doesn't ban cids anymore, then if you go online with a public console id you can stay on black ops 2 forever as long as you don't go offline and online, which means your biggest enemy will be to try not to make your ps3 freeze! so be nice to it and don't make it freeze cuz heating it up will not necessarely always fix your needs :P

make sure you have replaced your thermal paste and you have your fan running fast, or the risk of ylod is a lot higher ;)

lol i let my ps3 stay on for days for 7 years now! it's harder then you think to get ylod, uncept from shitting your self when changing firmware

well it depends on if you have a phat or slim, phats have more chance of ylod because of the useless lead-free solder they used. prolonged periods of high temperatures to cpu and gpu do eventually melt the solder and the components become slightly detached from the board . so it's not the greatest of ideas to leave a ps3 on with the original thermal paste and fan speed set.
