I saw this on a news webpage and wanted to let you all know !!!
Gamers beware - this week there was a massive data breach, and it could have leaked your information.
Earlier this week, Web security expert Troy Hunt reported a massive email and password dump - made up of millions of unknown security credentials - that appeared on the web in early 2019.
The data leak, which contains user data from multiple platforms, consists of a database made up of over 773,000,000 emails and passwords.
Data includes account credentials from Amazon, PayPal, Steam, PSN, Xbox Live, and many, many more besides.
As an added security measure, we recommend adding 2-step verification to your accounts on Xbox One and PS4.
This basically means that to sign into new consoles or new pages online, you'll need to enter a code that's sent to your phone, as well as your standard log-in details. It makes your account so much harder to breach
